Vibe magazine talked to Game and Ghostface Killah to get their thoughts on Guru. Game speaks about the influence that Guru had on him coming up, and talks about how crazy it is that it came out of nowhere. Ghostface says he doesnt even know what to say, but then talks about how Guru, Mass Apeal, and how much he was influenced by Guru before he was even making records. Ghostface says that in getting older this is just real life, and shit like this is going to happen. He says that Guru will be missed and offers his condolences to Guru’s family.
